Egle Nemeikstyte is the CEO at Blockchain Centre Vilnius, the first blockchain technology centre connecting key stakeholders in Asia, Australia, and Europe. Prior to that, Eglė has worked across a range of roles within EU institutions and Lithuanian Government, playing a key role in policy decision-making. She represented the EU Member States in the trilogies with the European Parliament and European Commission, chaired the EU Council’s working group meetings and was responsible for the leadership, coordination and strategy formation of the EU Council’s Consumer Affairs team during the Lithuanian Presidency.

Eglė also managed national projects such as the reorganisation of Lithuanian Product Safety and Market Surveillance systems and setting up and implementing the strategy for National Consumer Affairs.
