Mrs. Nijolė Janina Matulevičienė is the expert of Copyrigth and Related Rights.
After graduating with her law degree in 1978 from Vilnius University, she started working at the Supreme Court of Lithuania as Consultant. From 1980 to 1990 worked as a Legal Adviser in the Copyright Agency. Before her appointment as the Head of the Copyright Division, Mrs. Matulevičiene worked as a Legal Adviser in the Publishing House; in 1992 – 1995 was a Chief Official in the Legal Division of the Ministry of Culture. Since 1995 she has held the position of the Head of Copyright division in The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania.
She is responsible for co – ordination the State policy in the field of Copyright and Related Rights, for drafting legislation on Copyright and Related rights, preparing and presenting the position of Lithuania in European and international institutions, also consulting on Intellectual property issues.
