Executive Director of foreign investors’ Association Investors Forum. For the 14 years Ruta is responsible for the management of the association and implementation of its goals and the main mission – to improve investment climate in Lithuania. Her main field currently is an establishment of relations with the government in order to cooperate and to make a positive changes which is necessary to improve the conditions under which all local businesses must operate.

Before ‘Investors’ forum’ she had a Deputy Director General positions at Nordea Bank Plc Vilnius Branch and Deputy Director General at Societe Generale Vilnius Branch. Her work experience and strong network in governmental section makes her an expert of the functioning and decision making process of State institutions. For the 20 years Ruta has been working in the Ministry of Finance, in leading positions, responsible for the project implementation of the World Bank, IMF, EBRD, EIB projects, international relations with international financial institutions and Debt Management.

Rūta holds a master’s degree in Finance, she has also finished Investment banking training program at J.L Kellogg Graduate school of Management. She has participated in many conferences and seminars and regularly renews her knowledge on Capital Markets, International Project Finance, Customer Relationship Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, FDI and other topics.

Ruta Skyriene is socially active person carrying other activities, such as Member of the Board at Lithuanian Red Cross and Business Management Institute, independent Member of the Board of “Start Vilnius”.
