Marius Jurgilas

Marius Jurgilas is currently Board Member of the Bank of Lithuania in charge of payments and market infrastructure, cash management and research. Before moving to Lithuania, Mr. Jurgilas worked as Economist at the Financial Stability Research Department at the Central Bank of Norway, Economist at the Bank of England, Researcher at the European Central Bank.

Marius Jurgilas holds a Doctor’s Degree in Economics, which he earned at the University of Connecticut (USA) in 2007. He has also worked as Visiting Professor at ISM University of Management and Economics (Lithuania), Assistant Professor at the University of Elon (USA), Lecturer and Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut.
