As Vice-Minister of National Defence, Mr. Edvinas Kerza took the position as of February 2017. Before assuming the new assignment, he was in charge of managing key information system projects at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. He also worked at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Lithuania to the European Union. Mr. E.
Kerza holds a Master’s degree in Statistics and BSc Engineering Informatics degree from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. For his meritorious service, Kerza is awarded the Commemorative sign of the President of the Republic of Lithuania.
Mr. E. Kerza speaks English, French and Russian. He is 36 years old; is married and has two daughters.
