Alvar Lumberg is one of the first software engineers at TransferWise and currently heads the KYC development, Infrastructure and IT teams. He also actively participates in employer branding and recruitment efforts.

Prior to TransferWise Alvar built CRM and online banking systems in Swedbank and co-founded a Masters’ Program on Design and Development of Virtual Environments. He’s worked as a software development consultant and is an active member of Estonian startup and software development community.
